Calling After Hours and Getting Help Fast
Can I call after hours or on weekends?
Yes. A licensed plumber answers the phone around the clock, including weekends and public holidays, and the pricing stays the same.
How quickly can someone get to me?
Usually very fast, because vans work these streets constantly and are stocked for the faults local homes actually develop, but we never promise a specific arrival window we cannot guarantee. For genuine emergencies like an overflowing toilet or gas leak, you go straight up the queue.
What should I do while I wait?
Turn off the water at the meter for a flood, isolate the gas at the meter if you smell gas, and close the cold-water valve on a leaking hot water system. Then ring us, day or night. When there's no hot water on a winter morning, call before the first cold shower, not after.

Why do drains in the older houses block so often?
Mature trees along the established streets push roots into the jointed clay and earthenware pipes common to pre-1940 homes, and those lines crack and catch debris with age. A CCTV drain inspection shows exactly what the roots have done before anyone digs.
Why does water pool in my basement or low-lying yard during storms?
